Taxonomic Comments
FNA (vol. 4, 2003) does not recognize infrataxa in Froelichia floridana. In contrast, Weakley (2025) recognizes var. campestris, var. floridana, and var. pallescens. Weakley (2025) notes that F. floridana var. pallescens "may represent merely a more linear-leaved form of F. floridana var. floridana, but needs further study."
