Taxonomic Comments
Rothfels et al. (2008) provide a phylogeny showing that the genus Notholaena (Pteridaceae) is paraphyletic, with some additions and resolution by Yatskievych and Arbelaez (2008). The generic placement of this taxon is in accordance with the Pteridophyte Phylogeny Group I (2016).
